Simple post today. Just two videos for you to view and think about and one picture for you to think about and answer.
Here is the first video:
If that didn’t move you, you have no pulse.
Here is the second:
Now a question. How many more presidents, Republican or Democrat, will have to reorder those words and give the same speech with the same emotion and sincerity before we demand Congress does something? Before we demand that the “gun culture” in America is a failure that does not provide security to its citizens and that we embrace legislation similar to other industrialized nations who neither suffer our gun caused carnage nor understand our acceptance of it in the name of some bastardized definition of freedom? How long?
Now a picture for you to consider:
Discuss, debate, ruminate and then ACT. Now.

So how exactly does another “War on Drugs” make society safer?
Surely you can’t be that obtuse.
There are well over 300 million guns in the USA. Banning all of them would be futile and only punish people who were not inclined to break the law to start with.
If we are serious about preventing firearm accidents caused by negligence or ignorance, then we need to start teaching basic gun safety classes in schools that go beyond the “DURRRR GUNS BAD DURRRR” approach.
I stand corrected.
Your snark is boring.
We teach kids to look both ways prior to crossing the street, how is teaching them to not behave negligently with a gun any different?
Your comments are boring. By all accounts the 5 year old in Kentucky who just killed his 2 year old sister was “well trained.” Durrr, guns ARE bad. They serve one purpose. 300,000,000 guns in this country is a disaster that repeats itself every day. You can train everybody you want, but everybody is a “good guy with a gun” until they’re not. End of story. Move on.
